Biography

Soo Hong (홍수정) is dedicated to forging strong personal connections with her clients. She recognizes the significant challenges and decisions they face and ensures she is available every step of the way. Being accessible to address her clients’ questions and concerns is a priority for her, and this level of personal attention has often turned clients and their families into lifelong friends during her time representing them.

In recognition of her commitment to the legal community, Soo received the esteemed Ross Adams Younger Lawyer Award from the Cobb County Bar Association in 2015. She was also named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2017 and 2018, an honor bestowed on fewer than 2.5% of attorneys in Georgia. In addition, she was chosen as one of Atlanta Attorney at Law Magazine’s 2017 Attorneys to Watch. Soo also dedicates time to volunteer with Legal Aid, offering pro bono services in both civil and criminal cases.

Soo is relentless in her pursuit of favorable outcomes for her clients, securing settlements or judgments in significant personal injury cases to ensure their financial well-being.

She also assists clients facing financial difficulties by providing robust representation and advising on the best strategies to reconstruct their credit. Soo has handled everything from straightforward Chapter 7 filings to intricate Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 business cases. Her efforts have helped numerous small business owners save their enterprises while eliminating debt and restoring their financial standing. Soo’s assertive approach in Adversary Proceeding cases has also led to numerous successes. For over eight years, she has imparted her knowledge as a bankruptcy instructor at Chattahoochee Technical College.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Soo moved to the United States at the age of ten. She speaks Korean fluently and is committed to supporting the Korean community in Georgia.
